If we're gonna make a harder difficulty game, for the bosses we could just do the hardest version of each boss (i.e. Rocket Balrog, Misery during undead core fight, Undead Core, etc.)
Howabout the final boss isn't the evil warlord, but someone controlling him.
Ideas, ideas.

Actually, that was what I planned! Although I was hoping to add a little more explanation (in the form of dialogue) in that part before he got the bubbler and started adventuring.

I love all of these ideas, but I'd like to stick with the bubbler and mabye make the snake another instrument. There would have to be many trades for weapons throughout the game.

And quick question: does Milon's 'bubbler' have a name? I don't remember it having one. I think 'Bubble Gun' would be the best name for it.

We would probably need to change the graphics on them (I don't want the Cave Story characters as Milon characters). And as for the difficulty, I don't want to make it too much harder than the original Cave Story (or Milon's Secret Castle difficulty :p), I think there are too many mods that are hard, I would prefer a casual difficulty until the end of the game.

I think that's about it. So firehead and pigaro are working with me on the game now? Cool.

I say we leave level 2 as it is, change the vertical direction of level 1, and maybe change the colors of level 3 to rainbows and the whole movement of it all together.

Milon shoots his bubbles slightly upwards and slightly downwards. It doesn't change throughout the game. It does get stronger, though.

Oh! Could we make it so it takes longer to upgrade the bubbler? It'd be kinda easy otherwise I think.

Voyce is giving me some modding tips and stuff, if he really wants to help he sure is allowed to. And I'm sure someguy can help out with the sprites or facepics. Whatever he's better with, I guess.

We can do that, or make enemies drop a minimal out of experience.
