In seventh grade I asked a girl if she wanted to go out with me and she started laughing.

I kept asking this girl out in 7th grade. She was obviously in to me (who wouldn't be) though instead of a straight yes/no she just kept saying "Ill think about it". She ain't so hot now though.

More on love: I think the term is way too ambiguous. And you know how it's always a taboo to say you love someone if you're in 7th grade and have this girlfriend/boyfriend for only about 2 weeks? Well, as much as I agree with that, why? Is there only a certain time you can say you love someone? Is there a sign that says "You must have this many months/years to say 'I love you'"? That always puzzles me. And what is love, anyway? Can't you say I love you if you care about the person and want to make them happy? I mean, saying "i care about you" is kind of a lot of work. Or can you only say "I love you" if you've been together for years, and want to spend the rest of your life with them?
