sorry im new here downloaded the mod, and im having a lot of fun with it but i just cant figure out the whole rocks thing i feel stupid....

 

You need to pick up rock samples from the table where you got the ID badge and use them with various stations in the house to figure out what the password is, based on what's written on the blackboard.

 

I like what I see. I expected something a bit different then a remake of the caves, but the old ones weren't nearly as good. Did you decide to redo them before or after the double res hack?

 

I redid them a few times, at least once before and after. I was never satisfied with it.

 

I theenk this modd is really good becus Noxid is a grate modded and so he maid dubble res hacs fir us and it's nise.
My only issue is that it won't run on my tiny baby windows emulator D:

Is there any hope, doc?

Heh, at first I thought this was just a continuation but you redid like half of your previous version. I like this one better. The environments had you created are more compressed now, which gives off a natural vibe to the atmosphere.

EDIT: I found a glitch. When you talk to the dude on the second floor of the dormitory, part of the text box still stays at the bottom when you're done talking.

 

Is there any way to get out of Arthur's house after the robot attack? I can't seem to find one...

 

I'm sorry, I broke it
I accidentally set "Option 2" instead of "???" flag on the "door" entities, causing them to not exist..

 

Damn it... That was the ONE time I managed to beat the robot walker thing and Arthur's house was broken??? Seriously...

 

two things i don't understand...

When you move around after all of the mimiga are killed, some of the green shirted ones splattered against the walls follow your movement and look at you, and when you go to the graveyard, that one mimiga isn't shot, but acts like he didn't notice A THING going on outside...

Seems kinda silly...

Well, the first is because they are still barely alive, although upon reflection perhaps I should change the frame so just the head tilts rather than the whole body moving.

The second should not happen, there should be nothing in the graveyard afterwards so I suppose that's a glitch I'll need to fix.

AH, now i see how they're still a little bit alive...

It took the game a minute to progress, but they spoke now... then died...

 

Please be sure to save before entering Arthur's house as it is glitched at the moment and impossible to leave... :s

 

Believe me, i noticed... :| had to kill the robot boss again...

But that wasn't too hard to do, since i learned i can rename the file of the game, so i can use Ultimate Doukutsu Trainer (A cheat program for Cave story, 'case you didn't know)

So after i got fed up of playing it fair, i owned it with a machine gun out of frustration.

Buuuuuuuuut, now i can't figure out what to do, since nothing else has progressed even though i've scanned the place and talked to every part-alive mimaga i've come across... Even got King to go in the assembly hall...

 

The next step is to go into King's house to initiate a cutscene of sorts

 

It's not letting me... He says Wait... Is that mom?

It does nothing... i try to talk to the non-moving splattered mimiga/mom?

And all King does is look at it for a split second, then turns back to the normal stance... Nothing else occurs... No cut scenes...

 

Er, people keep telling me that they have trouble where they talk to her but it still won't let them in the door, but I've never been able to duplicate it...

nothing yet, what do i do with it?

 

Download the prof3.dat, move it to the mod folder, and then load save slot #3, and it should let you enter the door to King's house.

 

Oh, okay... I'll edit if it doesn't/does work...
