オートマッピングしてくれる機能を追加した。
マップとは別にエリアと言う概念も加わって作るデータが1種類増えた。
基本システムの手間は洞窟物語を超えたかもしれない..
それにしても地味だ。好きなんだけど。

Effort may be beyond the base system Cave Story ...
Sorenishitemo but modest. But I like.

ゲームが完成するまでにはいろいろな作業を何度も何度も繰り返す。
編集中のステージの隣のステージを開きたいときに、
メニューの"ファイルを開く"を選んで、ステージを選ぶ単純動作も、
ゲームが完成するまでに何千回も繰り返すのでウンザリする。

各ステージデータに隣にあるステージを設定できるようにして
カーソルキーの上下左右で隣のステージを開けるようにした。
洗濯機・物干し竿・タンスを近づけて余分なエネルギーを他にまわしたい。

I'm pretty happy I just got another Ipod Touch (Gotta wait till christmas for it though :( ) I Had one before but it broke. So hopefully I'll be able to play this :awesomeface:

とりあえず完成を目指して、もう1年も開発を進めてきたけど、
完成したアプリをiTunesに登録する作業は未経験のまま。
多分、やればできると言うレベルの話なのだけれど、
一度もやったことが無いという不安は消えない。

なので、一旦 今の制作を止めて何か小さなアプリを作ることにする。
登録作業・ゲームの公開・その反応をチェック。
実際にソレをすることで気づくことが色々ありそう。

そういう訳で、今あるソースからゲーム開発の雛形を作ってます。
開発は当初の予定よりだいぶ遅れているのだけれど、そうします。

Speaking of fish... this makes me remember my latest side-project game. (Naw, to be honest I made it right after finding this thread the first time). While waiting for more news on Pixel, perhaps this might quench your thirst for fish with guns?
SakanaJo is a game where you play as a girl who has been magically turned into a fish. You buy guns and shoot stuff to get money to buy bigger guns that shoot stuff more efficiently. There's everything between the Fireball and a gun that shoots homing bees... and of course some machine guns and shotguns.

Explore an intriguing plotline about being something you don't want to be... and realizing who you are! Explore areas so large I had to zoom the level out to 1% in the Room Editor to orientate! Avoid enemies so cool it's a wonder the underwater cave's not freezing!

Yeah, you got it. It's fun, stealing gameplay elements right from Hero Core.

下の絵とあまり変わらない様に見えるけど、こっちは落下して数字も動きます。
下の絵どころか、「コレ見たことある」って人いるかもしれないけど、
10年前とはプログラムの組み方が全く違う。
思いついた順番で思いついたコードを突っ込んでいくのが以前で、
要らない欲しいをまとめて、あちこちで使いまわしの出来るパーツを考えるのが今。
これを繰り返すことで、自分の手元にコマが揃っていって、
次のゲーム制作にかかる時間が短くなっていくと思ってる。

I saw an interview by IGN with NIS America, Pixel is working on some new projects, which may or may not be Cave Story related.

Currently it would seem he's working on two projects directly; A game for the iPhone called rockfish which is nearing completion, and an iPhone port of an old game of his called Azarashi.

Murmurs of a Cave Story 2 are largely inconsistent and seem to vary with the translation and positioning of the moon. At this point it's purely hypothetical, but at the very least he's not flatly refusing as seemed to be the policy in the past.

I believe they are also releasing Ikachan on DSiWare as well? I haven't heard much of it, but I think it is still being made?

Yeah it did that to me at first, I just right clicked and opened in a new tab and it worked.
And thanks for the info Nox, it's pretty interesting that they are making new enemies. Maybe they are considering expanding the game as well (considering it's a short game).
