Favorite Weapon

DB's perfered weapons order (best to worst = top to bottom):

• Snake
• Nemesis
• S. Missiles
• Bubbler
• Missiles
• Fireball
• Blade
• Polar Star
• Spur

I detest the Spur.
I hate having to wait that ~4 seconds for it to charge to do maybe 100 damage to a big boss when in the same time I can Nemesis or Snake pound the guy for ~120 and still have my ass covered.

I love the Snake because it really proves itself in Hell, triggering Deleets well before I get to them, and picking off those stupid Bute archers...
Over all it saves me a couple minutes.

With regards to the Blade, I ranked it there simply because the whole "Lvl 3 auto-max" gets annoying when that poke for 2 damage de-levels your weapon...
It lacks toughness and range of a Lvl 3 S. Missile barrage...
And it takes FOREVER to get to Lvl 3.

Now if someone modded/hacked the Spur to charge in a second and go through walls, then I *might* use it.

EDIT: On my best timed (Full HP + Min. Weapon (Snake)) Run I just sat on the spikes of Ballos's last form and cranked him with both my Snake and Curly's Nemesis for a defeat in about 13 seconds. (If you aim UP, both shots go up, as long as you're standing.)

If I'd used the Spur it've taken a lot longer because I'm losing the signifigant damage from Curly and the time wasted to charge.

 

ICK. I meant to vote Snake but accidentally voted Fireball.

So yeah, Snake is my favorite with the blade and spur closely behind it.

I always vote Snake.
Good damage, high range, penetration, wall penetration, easy leveling...
Plus the shot strafes within a defined area (unlike the Bubbler, and more predictable than the MG) so can handle large enemy groups.

Plus it's got great sound.
*Tries and fails to make the "whumph-wumph-wumph" of the Snake*

Plus I can say "I'm playing with my Snake~"

Erm none of them are called Brutes anyway... The shooty people I dunno. The big block thrower dood is called Herculese(however you spell it ><) I think lol.

This is a tough decision :S i prefer nemesis blade and snake but i think i'll rank the snake as my no.1!

Bumpimg because of the good source of potential Rule 34 weapon pairings. Also to vote for my favorite weapon: Spur.

I really do like Polar Star. Can't tell exactly why, probably because of its straightforwardness, but that's why I absolutely love Spur. Spur is basically delevel-proof lv.3 Polar Star, with the nice bonus of firing charged beams.

My no. 2 is Machine Gun. Flying. 'Nuff said.

And on the third place is Bubbler. The bubble shield is just too good to be sniffed at. Only it's a pity that it deals so little damage.

I like Chaco's Rapeatron 2000.

 

Definitely Snake because it's extremely fun and interesting. It can go through walls, an it's awesome. Really fun, and really interesting. The blade's al;so nice, since it's a godsend in the Labyrinth, but the Snake is more useful overall and more fun. Also, it can fire really fast, making intense damage easy to make.

 

When I first saw this topic when I first joined I didn't really have a decision.

Now I do. It's the blade. Definitely.
