The Whimsical Star is already an add on to the Spur, its range increases when you charge the Spur, it cannot work without it, kinda like the Turbocharge for the Machine Gun.

Spur + Nemesis = Spur shoots ducks at lv. 3 and mosquitoes at MAX lol.

The enemy could die of blood loss or some disease from those mosquitoes, it would be a lot of mosquitoes to occupy the space of a MAX spur beam.

Tapping the button gives fully-charged Spur shots while charging it up to Max gives you a single Polar Star Lv. 3 shot.

That is a seriously powerful weapon.

 

I'm one of the few people, who loves the machine gun. I know it's not the most powerful, or the most fancy... But I used it the most, and the first time I found out I could FLY with the lvl 3 mode... I was hooked on it.

Range is nice, strength is nice, it's my all around fav... The other's out there, I just can't find all purpose uses for. lol

Then again, I still have to try keeping the Polar Star the next time I play through. Maybe then I'll enjoy the other weapons I have yet to try out.

 

Snake then Blade then Machine Gun.
Although playing a 3HP game has given me some nice appreciation for the Flamethrower - it has more range than the Polar Star, and of course bounces along the ground, making it nearly equal for outputting damage between Blade swarms.

i actually like the flame as it is waaay better than polar star.

try doing boss rush with polar star and then flame and you will see the difference

 

It's all about the Blade. Seriously.

The bubbler and blade are fun weapons, I would have gotten the Nemesis but they wanted to take my precious (LotR quote).

Um, was there a point to making a distinction between the Missle Launcher and the Super Missle Launcher? I don't understand why someone would vote for the former over the latter. I just felt like throwing that out there, well...just because! Don't judge me! LEAVE US ALONE!

Some one at some point voted for the Machine Gun due to the fact it's just freakin' cool that the kick-back of the gun allows you to pseudo-fly.

 

Normal missile launcher has 100 missiles, as opposed to 54. You still do less damage, but they last longer.

 

yeah that would be awesome how much less do they do?

 

I think around half the damage of super missiles. I think.
