Everyone else just seems so empty, somehow- even Curly.
After that comes Toroko. Her story's just sad. =(
And then Chaco. Just 'cause she's cool like that. ... ya. That's it, that's why.

Hmmm...
I agree with you sorta... Toroko had little more than a minute or two in the actual game. Sue, comes off lacking; since she seemed so important at the first half of the game, and then the second half she was more of a shadow or after thought... Sure she has some sweet scenes lol The Igor thing was to die for ;p If only Quote had woken up in the jail cell there might have been time to actually know her...
... uh Chaco really is a complete unknown lol The reason I like her is actually because she calls you Mr. Traveller or whatnot lol That is kinda cool lol...
Curly Brace I wanted to like the most on my first play through... But, I found her dialogue kinda shallow like you say... And it was hard for me to accept the Best ending where they just fly away all random like lol
... I never really liked Momorin though ;p Kinda surprised you chose them over Misery. Although we don't get a chance to know Misery really...
The problem with all the characters are they are only introduced and we get just a few fleeting sentences typical of transitional NES to SNES games, where you only get a sentence or two out of characters, with minimal time to learn about them...
I still choose Curly as my favorite now, because over time I read more into her choice of words; and the things she does.
