The background on yours is great, but I think mine's more 'cabin-ey.'

Anyway, I vote that, whichever one we use, we should put in the bookshelves from yours. Those things are awesome.

Matt's feels a bit grittier, which given that this is a zombie game, seems more fitting. Those books might be a little too bright, but otherwise they're great.

Also, fair point on the purchase system being needed for progression, etc. I can roll with it.

Also also, aside from weapon development, we need to slap enemy design onto the list. Obviously we're making zombies, but are we designing and making them all from scratch, borrowing and zombifying some of CaveStory's creatures, or...?

Also also also, when the list is made, we need to make sure it's clear who's working on what. Obviously this list is gonna blow up really big really fast, so we need to stay organized. I suggest that once someone verifies they're working on X aspect, they wait until their name is put by X on the list just to make sure we don't get any redundant work done.

On that note, I should probably grab something to work on instead of rambling on about management and 'avoid this and that.' :p

Ill fix the story up a bit.

edit: I tried to make it less cliche by instead making it that zack got the weapons from his dad. Also i made a small attempt to make the story reflect the setting but i kind of doubt it changed much, check the edits i made on the story on page 6 of this topic. Again if you see there be reason to make changes, then please mention them and ill try to fix them.

Zombie mimigas. It appears the red flowers have affected them in more ways than one. Yeah start spriting, sorry for no responce last night, I was tired and went to bed at 10:00.

I thought the rugged gritty look would be good, but someone mentioned cabin I couldn't get my mind off of the shack from the swamp in Nazi Zombies, (can't remember the actual map name) hence the planks of wood. I'll update the list in a little bit.

Hey guys i got an idea. How about we all make ourselves the ingame characters. If the characters are gonna be mimigas then we can make some mimiga alter egos.

And what we could do is that we include the game and also use a separete zip where we store the spritesheets ready to replace mychar. Heck we could even add other spritesheets like the ones made in the i can make requested characters (with the permission of the author of the ones we grab if we decide to do it).

All right, I'll get working on the zombie mimigas. So Lunar, you're making a generic mimiga mychar spritesheet for us to edit for our personas? We might be able to recycle my old Chaco spritesheet.

Huh... I could've sworn I finished the white Chaco version of the mimiga mask swap. I think I lost the finished version when my laptop fried and only backed up an older version... :x I'll finish that up real quick, it's just some copypasta and flipping.

Edit: I'll go ahead and make the top one white.

Edit edit: And take out a few of the other Chaco-esque elements.

Sounds pretty good, I never envishioned the character you play as being a mimiga, but now I can't see it any other way.

Well i was able to add an earpiece (a ps3 exclusive bluethooth headset) but thats all so far. Other than that im only adding freckles and a video game inspired shirt as the mimigas shape is a pretty good representation of me.

Could any of you tell me how i should add the freckles (im using paint).

Indeed these are awesome. So are we all trying to work on the actual character or the personalized MyChar's right now? Also, I believe anyone who works on this project MUST create there own character despite spritng skill. Some shall be badass, some shall be funny and some shall display a complete lack of artistic ability.
