Her father sold her nose to science. That's why he's never seen in the game.

Sue's brother is Kazuma, not Arthur.

Arthur is Toroko's brother.

Also, I don't think this issue will ever be brought up in the game, so stop discussion on it? Y/N

Can the music be in a format other than ORG? Most especially, can it be in MIDI? If it can be in MIDI or other formats (MP3, WAV, etc.) then I'd gladly lend a hand in creating the music.

We can't use ORG or pxtone anyway since the DLLs are Windows-only.
So yes, it's going to be MP3 or OGG.

No, seriously, I want in on the OST.

I'll use MIDI converted into MP3/OGG to still make it sound ORG-ish instead of actually recording myself, though. I highly prefer MIDI anyway, as of now ^^

Well, if I'm accepted, how do I get info on what to make? Like, what theme, looping or not, short track time or long, etc...?

 

To be accepted you have to finish some tracks first.
IDK what kind of track you can do, just make something Cave Story like.
Some Remixes would be nice.
The Tracks have to loop tough.

 

In fact, we need some looping remixes I think. It'd really suck without any remixed tracks from CS itself. I can think of Cave Story (the plantation theme) and Gestation and maybe Moonsong that'd make cool remixes.

These tracks weren't necessarily made for "Cave Story 2", for they were simply my remixes of Cave Story tracks. Maybe this project will finally give me a reason to finish my other betas, and to actually make an OST.

But I think you should make it loop-able.

Also, a suggestion:

Quote's facemap.
Since he's slowly recovering his memories, I think he should be able to talk at a point of the game.
And maybe Curly's new facemap, since it's been 5 years since CS.
Even if she doesn't grows up, we need to come with something new.

Also, Quote could always talk, but it was more of an approach where he doesn't say anything but the message is conveyed. Sort of like in Pokémon games.

 

Robots don't grow up, but they still "age". How 'bout some wear-and-tear?

They might have timed pistons built into their insignificantly retractable bodies such that they "grow" every few months.
