Yah I know this one's pretty off. I'll give it a third try, and this time I'll remember to put up all three versions for comparison.

Mimigas are tricky... plus she's a bit more difficult because I can't get a good mental picture of her, which usually helps a lot.

Okay, I overwrote it AGAIN, with my old version, and I will give it a third shot but this time I'm saving it as a different file to avoid more confusion.

Put them side by side and label them according to the number of attempts to make it clearer and easier to compare =P

I forget something:

People who work with me (Spriting, Music and so on): May request a build at any time and may (if they like to) try to help me with the engine. They may play new versions.

Beta testers: May request a build at any time and should try to help me with the engine. They have to play new versions.

How to help me with the engine:

- Point out whats wrong with it.
- Give me some examples (Jumping in CS was faster/jumping in CS was 1 pixel every secound) something like that.
- If possible give more instructions.

 

You know what, I did give the Chie portrait another shot, and it just ain't working out, so I ended up deleting that one too.

Andwhy, you seem to have some idea how you want her to look, and you mentioned (or at least implied) you've done Mimiga portraits before. Why don't you give it a shot? I certainly can't do all the graphics.

 

Why does Sue not have a nose?

 

Eh, she didn't as a Mimiga... for that matter neither does Misery. I can try adding one but it might look weird.

The existence of noses, especially on female characters, tends to be a bit more relaxed in anime/anime-ish style stuff.

 

Oh... I thought her lack of a nose was solely because she was a mimiga.

Chie has a nose. That face image I submitted may be recoloured, but it is the real deal (pulled from the beta images).

Currently working on other stuff but I'll give it a go when I have the time.

 

Well I was just pointing that out because Celtic Minstrel was saying that he thought Sue didn't have a nose because she was a Mimiga, so I pointed out Mimigas that did have noses, and kinda alluded to the trend that female characters in general, depending on the style, often have tiny or invisible noses.

Anyway, for now I think I'll stick to monsters, since they're supposed to be ugly. I could probably do human facepics though...

It's just the way she looks, even in human form <_<

But Sue already had that scar on her face in palce of a nose when Quote first meets her, which is when she was still in Mimiga form...

Or perhaps Misery sucked so much at magic that when she transmogrified Sue into a Mimiga, Sue's nose got lost in the process... >_>
