I am going to start a new map. We are all going to hop on at the same time and co-operate to build something nice. As the server admin, I'd really like to see a concentrated group effort instead of a lot of unrelated structures spread far and wide across the land. I never even got to see Noxid's sea lab, although that's because of my map choice.

I don't think it's too much to ask for us to work together on this. That is the entire point of having a server. It's no fun for me when you run off and build your own tower in the woods that no one else is going to find. We are all bros, let us act like it.

Also, anyone wishing to do VOIP on Steam or Skype is welcome to. It makes communication much easier, because it's hard to tell people about the creeper chasing you when you have to type it.

I will post here again when I'm ready to start the server.

Can you at least post a .schematic of Noxid's sealab? He spent so much time on it.
Also, I'm okay with VOIP-ing. I should start a Skype in order to do so.

Currently I don't have a mic, so VOIP or Skype is not an option.

Also, shall we make one "group HQ," (we could expand it by adding with different wings and such) or shall we all just be next-door neighbors?

Yaaay! I just bought minecraft! hopefully the distraction it presents wont extend past thanksgiving break. (It totally will)

Today I have decided to begin construction of a monumental landmark far surpassing any of my creations to date. A massive spire that will stretch from the core of the earth to the top of the heavens. The Tower of Babel.

Phase one of the construction has already begun; a 100x100 section of earth has been marked off for excavation down to the bedrock. During excavation, materials unearth will be moved away to a nearby cave in a fissure where I have arranged various chests for storage. Once excavation is complete, construction begins of the tower. Each tier of the tower is 10 blocks tall, with a floor every five blocks (floor, four blocks space, floor, four blocks space, etc. for a total of 50 floors and 25 teirs in the completed 250-block-tall tower.

Needless to say I need as much assistance as I can get.

Of course, bobbyis, Noxid, Jed37, Cave Story, Safusaka, and Hiino helped out for a good chunk of it that night.

Hiino and I were discussing design options for what to build in the completed pit. I am not very creative so if anyone has a better idea speak up, but the theme is "A thing that goes from bedrock to sky"

Unless you come up with a better theme too

Since you have 250 meters to work with, the circles would have to average 28 meters, which I think is enough space do to some interesting things. You can check out what each of them is like.

Well, I FINALLY got a copy of the game. I was wondering if you would be so kind as to let me on. Also, I have read the first part of the Divine Comedy. The circles of hell thing sounds pretty interesting.
