I found it kind of awkward that Mahin's text never changes after Tokoro is kidnapped.

Shouldn't it change after you speak to Chaco about the jellies and/or after you return from grasstown with Kazzy and booster?



And also you probably ask the mods to have this moved to showcase because the idea/development forum is closing soon.

He usually does but I re-scripted it.
Once you talk to Mahin once, a H/V is flagged in reservoir to check if you ever enter the water after speaking to him. Once you pass that trigger, Mahin will always send you to the sanctuary...

(which I just realized as I'm typing this... that it's possible to beat it with the machine gun... oops...)

To get the -Toroko taken- dialogue, you have to avoid going near the chinfish after talking to him once, otherwise he interprets it as not bringing the fish back.

(I may have worded that confusingly)

Toroko's been kidnapped?
Well, that's unfortunate.
That is the price that mortals pay
when they don't feed their gods...
That's the only alternate dialogue, the rest was removed... I think...

(P.s. Mahin and Chinfish's story isn't over, You will meet Mahin again in jail, and the chin fish... actually has a pretty big role planned for later versions.)

How did you do it? Did you actually have to tell a Mod to move it? I thought they would eventually do it themselves...

Just mentioning somewhere in small text that you want this to be moved will get it moved
At least noxid reads every post and I'm not sure why anyone else doesn't

The 7zip file is about 100 MB. When you extract it, the application will be about 350 MB. (I know its pretty big, but at least you dont have to open it with an application like CrossOver every time you launch the mod.)

It's not like the whole section is getting deleted.

To my knowledge they are going to wait a month or two, and then give people the chance to move it to the showcase if it is apparent that work is being done...


So you're not going to be screwed... I think...

You guys do realize that the sanctuary isn't at all final... It was just my first ever edit as an introduction to modding that I decided to include as a "finishing the Alpha mod bonus."

For the other two bonuses:
"Failed Experiment #666" will be completely scraped in a future update. While originally me and Nyreal were going to put that as a final boss, it's been replaced for a finale infinitely times better.

And "#242" will most likely be added, but completely redesigned regarding tile layout and how the multi-bosses are handled.

And light, just out of curiosity, how far are you? (I assume your at the core room by now?)

And also as an idea, make balrog briefly cover in the bolder chamber when puu black copies him.

Hey Enlightened One, I was looking at the face image in the data folder, and by what I can tell which is blacked out:

- Sue may not use her hurt face, or a new face will replace that
- Curly goes crazy or mad or something
- A my little pony pony may appear
- Quote may have some lines
- The chef turns into a Mimiga
- Misery's lips? WTF
