It's not like profanity is punishable by death, it's okay if you swear a bit in your mod. In fact saying something like "damn" instead of "dagnabbit" makes the story seem a lot more "real", in my opinion.
Although yeah sexual themes may not be quite appropriate but I mean we have chako so :I

I never said punishable by death or any sensual themes at all... Keeping it the same level as pixel did.

I say damn and crap, But the two big ones I'm not... My Religious / Personal choice...

"Dangnabbit"... Ha, I would only use that for a weak character trying to act tough... Sadly I already killed off king...

And I want to make a point about Curly's panties and chako's lipstick... But that would be spoilers..

I'm very vague about what this mod actually includes...

That's another reason that I'm doing a finalizing sweep even though its edited all the way to the labrynth. At the start I made certain character personalities like balrog a gentleman, who uses sophisticated vocabulary. Basicly, since the details are only with me (so far, I just need a week or two!), its hard to use ideas made without the person knowing those details...

So far, There are two cutscenes, each depending on a choice you made earlier. Both involve misfires... But again... The details are withheld for maximum surprise.

EDIT: what really matters is actually the cutscene before you fight Toroko. That one has more to work with and is actually way more funny than what I did with this little cutscene.
I understand. It was just a suggestion, and BTW I do get balrog is a gentleman and The Doctors a Chef

So... Minor delays... (If I still hurry up I can release today... maybe)


The reason for this is that I just found out that I passed an Entity limit in Sandzone...
...the effects is that Experience-triangles often don't drop from enemies and these things:

Will often just explode without creating smaller ones when you destroy them...

Let me pass this hurdle... and then its (Hopefully) just some more fixes here and there...

Release is close...

EDIT: wow... that took only 10 minutes to fix... Never mind then :chin:

Not any bigger... just a lot more hectic...

But I fixed it pretty much (it took a lot less time to fix then I thought it would)...


In its current state you still have to kill 3-6 enemies before it spawns experience normally...
I'm ok with that...


(Another reason the cap was exceeded is because of a unexpected joke I put in it... I'm not disclosing anything... but theres a reason I have 30+ enemies all concentrated in one area...)

I have to say, the dialogue was quite funny and had me laughing a lot of the time.
Mahin sending you to Hell, the press' in the Egg Corridor, the Door in Egg 00, and the destruction of the opening room
really caught me off guard, good job! I actually decided to stop playing after I finished the Egg Corridor because it's very monotonous playing the original Cave Story with only slightly edited maps and more enemies. I wish I could watch all of the cutscenes without having to actually play the game. I'm sure most others don't mind though, just I'm particularly exhausted with playing almost-vanilla Cave Story. I've found many minor errors and I've listed them below. There were definitely more than I listed, though.

Problems:
-You don't need a profile.dat included in the download.
-Pesky Stumpy snuck up on me right after the cutscene ended.
-Isn't Kanpachi supposed to have a 't' in it somewhere? I thought it did, but the Tribute Site says otherwise.
-Multiple spots where "your" should be "you're."
-"incrediblly" = "incredibly."
-"Appartment" = "Apartment."
-"Absolutly" = "Absolutely."
-Still more spelling errors, but I don't feel like writing them all down.
-Many grammar mistakes...
-The "Pocket Saver" is much appreciated, but I'm sure it can be used to break the game very easily!
-The <MYB pushed me into the spike in the Shack, so you might want to move that spike over the left by one unit.

This alpha might not show it... But epic things will come eventually...
