Edited the first post and renamed the mod/parody to "Cavern Tale" because... you probably understand why.
Even though this is my first mod, I learn fast. So stuff like making (short) completely unexpected and new cutscenes with <ANP isn't a problem. I'm always trying out new ways to edit the game.

Development isn't slow or postponed... it just takes a lot of time to get QUALITY instead of simple dialogue edits... like this:

But... anyways... I have great ideas... so let me add lots of polish and content before initial (demo) release... because who downloads a mod 40 times for the basic edits?

Really, though, this looks to be shaping up to be a new classic. Seriously great job, Enlightened. I think you're going to go down in forum history as one of the modding greats - or at least, you'll be pretty well remembered.
You mean Asdf Story? I actually thought it had something to do with the Asdf movies by tomska before I read your thread.
Regarding my mod, I renamed it to "Cavern Tale (Enlightened's Mod)" because after blindly working on changing the original in the first weeks of development, I decided the main aspect of it was going into parody style... With a large helping of irony and the unexpected (which is why I withhold some details as to keep it a blind run for when I release it).
"Enlightened's Mod" is just too bland and boring in my opinion. "Asdf story" isn't that bad... But it's only a name! Content is what makes a Mod good.

Speaking of content, here's some random update I'll do for you all because I'm rebellious to getting enough sleep:

The plan is that after Frenzied Toroko's fight is done being edited (which includes the chef's dialogue about making divine meals for mimiga, setting up so that you carry the puppy while fighting, etc.) I'm going to go back to the beginning and make more changes. The reason for this is because I learned as I go, so while first cave has some basic dialogue edits, sand zone has new mini cutscenes and more complicated gags, I want to balance it all out so that the quality is spread out instead of gradually getting better.
(and egg corridor is meh, need to change the <ANPs so that Sue tries to punch a scared and running igor).
Once misery in showe*AHEM* start point to the end of sandzone (it stops when you would wake up in the first labyrinth room) are all polished and tested, THEN I'll upload the first alpha of the mod.
And even though its in my sig, I'm at this time on the quest for Jenka's puppies (which includes changing her long rant on red flowers to a rant on people stealing her puppies, and the extra walls and other undisclosed stuff).

Anyways, I can't express how much the support is to me. I'm a changling I haven't even released anything yet! Although This may be my first time doing a large time consuming project, I learn fast.
And my ideas... Well... Lets just say I think I have a trump card.
