Sorry, I get really excited at times. This is probably the only mod that I for sure want to play.

ANYWAYS (for all of you)... Problems...

The first demo should be fine (Now that I fixed that weird thing that pixel put in), as well as most of my original plans.

You see... I had this.. "Idea". So great that I'm not going to abandon it...

But then I found out that there is a 101 map limit... which means either I do a massive combining of maps... (When I get to the point that I need the maps)… or more worthwhile…

I’ll have to take away some ideas from this mod and make it into another, with a “Transfer your save”, or an entirely new mod concept after this one.

But don’t really worry about all that… There aren’t a lot of extra maps in the first demo that will go up maybe sometime this month.

My mod is at 104 maps right now and I don't have any problems with them. . .

I want to try this, this is one of the few times I've actually wanted to play a mod to the point where its unbearable.

Probably because this mod reminds me of Monty Python.

That's good to know. Even if there was a low limit, It wouldn't stop me from making... Something.
See that was when I was lunarsold and I didn't know what I was talking about. I'm apparently an anomaly and while other mods can have more than 101 maps, mine crash at the 102nd.

I understand... It was an old post...

I don't really need to use that many maps until after the sanctuary... So either way, my idea could work...


For all those waiting for release... Finals are brutal to study for.

Exactly. But don't expect me to work on it in all my free time... Making up jokes is somewhat tiring. (But still mostly fun).

Really all I have to do now is to think of an idea to edit/replace the normal mini cutscene where misery tele's you and balrog to the labyrinth. Then it's just finishing with some light touches here and there.

uhh, last time I checked the mod didn't have any cussing. . .

Yep... I'm against cussing and outright sexual themes for this...

I like the whole misfiring idea... but the toaster thing won't work because I already have a great joke planned for what the heck Balrog is. (Don't ask, its a surprise.)..

Plus Its not complete random nonsense... its ingeniously planned random nonsense... so "Make me some toast" would drop in quality... if that makes any sense...

It makes sense.

About the misfiring, will she try to get Balrog and hit Quote or visa versa?

I think it would be funnier to have her try to hit Balrog and have them completely forget about Quote in the conversation. :P

But that's just me. . .

You have to remember that there is also issues with continuity and character personalities. Since I made a decision to hold off the first release, it's quite impossible to take people's idea's because even though its good, it breaks certain rules..

That's another reason that I'm doing a finalizing sweep even though its edited all the way to the labrynth. At the start I made certain character personalities like balrog a gentleman, who uses sophisticated vocabulary. As it goes on he stops speaking that way, which means I have to modify the dialogue I have now to that vocabulary standard.

I'm confusing this post...

Basicly, since the details are only with me (so far, I just need a week or two!), its hard to use ideas made without the person knowing those details...

So far, There are two cutscenes, each depending on a choice you made earlier. Both involve misfires... But again... The details are withheld for maximum surprise.

EDIT: what really matters is actually the cutscene before you fight Toroko. That one has more to work with and is actually way more funny than what I did with this little cutscene.
