Woah, RPG Maker 2003's teleporting to another location is easy to use, but I just can't get the hang of switches. lawl. Ah well, I gave up on my game long ago.
---
Um, another 'bug'. Most people like to delete all the other maps except Map 0072, however, you can't do this with your editor. Since Map 0072 will become Map 0000 if you delete all the other maps.

The "RPGMaker 2003" idea is good, I had the same, it should just build in, in a "Drag & Drop" scripting system. Not in a real "text" based scripting system though

Although it would be kinda neat, with me being used to years' worth of text-based scripting (ZDoom ACS, if anyone here has a bloody clue what that is. ), I'd go crazy without a feature to switch back to the default text-based system. I dunno... it may be just me, but the current script editor is nearly perfect to me, with syntax highlighting and then some. :o

But hey, this idea would help out tons of newcomers anyhow. I actually would make much use out of a quick "Create teleport script" where you can actually select a location on-map (a la RM2K3). I fudge up coordinates quite a bit. ;P

Whats syntax anyway?
---
Oh and if you wanna do the RM2k3 system, you can click like, "Select Faceset", and then they will load up all your facesets from Face.bmp/.pbm, and you can just select it.
---
As for the adding entities, could you make it simpler, because it would be much easier to just click in order to add an entity, something like Sue's.

Drag and Drop is better, trust me, it's much easier :D

Idk... Before it was sticky. Now it isn't anymore, because Wistil isn't online in his ICQ/AIM anymore and also doesn't post here anymore :)

Sad... It really had potential to surpass Sue's Workshop =/

I think it already has surpassed Sue's Workshop. It can do almost everything Sue's can. Except maintain original map number.

It is a sad thing, really. Perhaps it is because we cannot capture the living grace of a working Cave Story editor that we do mourn. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Zeros to zeros, ones to ones.

For me it hasn't, I didn't used it for modding, mainly because with the GUI you need to much time to edit things, Sue is a lot of faster, also it can not open my mod, I told Wistil he should build in different extensions, but there aren't :x

Maybe he'll drop in again sometime and say, alright here's the latest version... or here's what happened...
I mean he didn't say he had to discontinue work right?

I'll stay hopeful for up to an even 6 months :p
