Pixel added whiskers to Igor, he re-adjusted the eyes to give Igor a sort of feline look.

How out of character for Pixel, giving his characters a feline appearance.

I didn't notice before, but now I think that the new Igor looks really pissed. Like, holy crapping assballs he is enraged beyond all reason. In the PC version he just looked a bit irked, don't you think?

Cave Story Wii was one reason why I got Nintendo Wii, along with several other games...
I just hope it won't be ruined so that it would be fit for everyone, e.g. "Welcome to Hell!", deaths etc. that might give mental pain to some interesting people.

Well, hopefully we can see Cave Story Wii released soon... Maybe Q1 2010

As for the news, it seems downloadable content will be delayed, if implemented at all...

I was gonna do my monthly playthrough but now I guess I'll hold off until the OFFICIAL RELEASE.

Sorry if I sounded a little rough there, but suddenly announcing that all previous modes, that were to be DLC, are now included with the game, it makes me wonder about it. It all seems so... sudden.

Yes, they announced DLC, but they haven't talked about details. All they mentioned were the modes now included in the game.

Now, there's no evidence they WON'T do downloadable content, so this is just my mind talking... Ignore it if you want to stay sane.

And yeah, that little guy at the bottom of the page does raise some questions... (what exactly, I'm still finding that out!)

Hmm... and this is the same month when Mega Man 10 will be released. I hope the Blue Bomber won't cut out potential fans.

You don't need a Wii. It's only a matter of time until you can download it on PC.

I am talking about illegally downloading it of course. It will most likely be able to download on the same day it's released if you know the right places to look.

Maybe so, but I'd still buy it anyway because in some small way, I'd feel like I'd be supporting Pixel. Even if he may or may not be recieving a portion of the revenue. Do we even know what sort of agreement he took up with them, like royalties or selling the IP for a lump sum or what? (probably not the second one.)

When it's as something as epic as Cave Story, and supports the original creator, of course, it's brilliant.
I'd buy it three times, if I could.
