I'd only complain about the unfinished songs, anyways.
Unless they've done better since Sand Zone
{I'm not saying it sucks, but I think the original was still a lot better...}

I agree with you on sand zone, but Moonsong wasn't as bad as it. Moonsong wasn't quite as good, but had the right feel to it.

Good thing they said they would let us mix and match the new stuff with the original just in case the music doesn't work out.

Actually i think they got the music right on this one.
But if you REALLY don't like it just for the sake of "don't like it"
You already know that you can use the old version of the music.

 

I don't like the music they're making because they leave out so many layers of the music from the original game. To me it's a glaring flaw of the music they're planning to use for the wiiware port but some others don't see it as such.

I love the original music so much because it's very detailed and Pixel did it all himself, but the wiiware port is leaving out so much of it without even realizing it I don't think. The port is focusing on the main parts of the songs and from what I've heard so far leaving out underlying layers of the music.

Just my 2 cents on it : X but yeah long as they have the original I'm fine, jus' sayin'.

I don't understand why this excites you so. That's just Cave Story with a better resolution. Awesome, yes, but we already knew that. Although I see that parrot looks quite a bit angrier than before.

Seriously, I thought you'd know more, being on the forums...
This'll have a ton of extra DLC, along with new music. And it's also a way to actually support Pixel and Cave Story, in hopes of better games to come.
This is also spreading Cave Story all over the world, now. Far better than Word Of Mouth, this game's at E3, and featured in several dozen magazines!!
It's not just better graphics...
{And before you say I'm a nerd or something for knowing this, this info's all on the Blog, which has been linked to at least several dozen times in this thread alone}

Don't take this as anger towards you, it's the general anger towards all of the people who say the same question, when it's been answered several times before...

Yeah, it's not much of an update, but it's still an update.
The video showed some of the Sand Zone already, but people keep nagging for updates and screenshots, so they get rushed crap.
Just like they were warned they would get....

By rushed crap, I meant by what Captain was referring to. I was talking about the updates, so make sure you read carefully next time, mm'k?
We've already got a video of the Sand Zone {Which showed stuff that was already seen in the screenshot}, why did we get a screenshot of it?
Because the naggy fans are bugging the hell out of the team, and so they're giving 'rushed crap' updates. {Updates that aren't giving us anything new}
