Anyways, I said the update itself was crap.
If people want a still frame, simply push pause on the video.
Infact, almost all of the comments on the video are about it being a pretty useless update, because there's already a video.
The reason they bothered with a screenshot is just to sooth the frantic and annoying people who keep saying "Omg, this blog sucks! There's not enough updates!" So the team's trying to make them be quiet with a quick update that's not really an update...
You can think people wanted a Full-Size still frame, but those very same people disagree. {Look at the number of comments that point out the same idea}

Also, if you really think I'm trying to make you anger, why try to start something here?
I was just posting the update and talking to Captain about it, there was no need for you to rush in and twist my words.

Worst shorthand ever invented. My mind jumps off a cliff whenever it is forced to mentally pronounce it as something similar to "I dunno" minus the "d" sound instead of just Eih-oh-no or Eih-on-o. I think whoever invented that slang word failed horribly at English because, as far as I am aware, the rules that the English language is bound by suggest that the spelling and pronunciation for "Iono" can never match.[/RANT]

I think the only thing that could get between Jacob and Wii Cave Story now is a giant steamroller dropped on his head. Similarly, I can't WAIT to see Curly. Oh, uh, did they release a gameplay trailer with Curly in it? I haven't really been following the blog. I'm just not that kind of person.

 

Neither do I, but I know people who do, and I will force them to buy it for me and then I will pay them double what it costs.

 

I'll probably buy a Wii, buy Cave Story, play Cave Story, then never touch the Wii again. I bought a Mega Drive just to be able to play Pier Solar when it comes out, so I wouldn't put it past me to do so.

Well buying a Wii just for a game is not a good thing actually.
I already got one (i bought it for SSBB, Metroids, Punch-Out!! and Virtual Console)
and i got some other interesting games too (Zack & Wiki, Megaman 9, TG-16 Ys Book I & II, NES Startropics, etc...)
For me was a good purchase.
But if Cave Story is the only interesting game for you on Wii, then it's really a waste of money paying for 255-265 for a download game that have a free version on PC.

 

One question I have is how much of the money for the game is actually going to Pixel? I've felt like I owe him for playing this game so much and I want to be sure at least some of the money goes to him.

No it isn't, because I'll be supporting Pixel. Plus I might use it for VC.

Also, guys, Monster Hunter Tri's gonna be on the Wii... And you know EVERYONE's gonna be playing that.
