Those are some really neat drawings, Orbit. It's like a medley of different Cave Story Characters/Scenarios. I particularly like the big one of Quote/Curly, the one in the top left of the Mimiga trio (something about the coloring and posing is just so badass), and Kanpachi singing to his dear Chinfish.

 

That's a lot of positive feedback. Don't really know how to reciprocate other than to say thanks. Now I know to let myself be more carefree with drawing.

 

After finally willing myself to pick up my drawing pen again, I managed to make something. I've been at this for a few days. It isn't one full drawing, but many small drawings.

Interesting style. It kind of has a water color feel to it. The design choice of having the outlines not line up with the color fills is also an interesting one, but not one tha does much for me.

There's something I kind of like about the way you drew Sue's face, it reminds me of a picture book that my parents read to me as a small child, it was some book that involved cartoon dinosaurs. I can't remember the name of it, though.

There's something about the way that you've drawn the eyes that I like. It's simple, but cute, and full of character.

 

Very experimental drawing from balcony, I wanted make something little minimalist (?) I don't know...well criticism is welcome.

 

Not bad. I like the shadowy effect of the walls, the helicopter, and I also like how you did Quote's scarf flowing behind him.

Not bad. I really like the detail on the moon, and the way that the light resonates. Quote seems a bit patchy. I know that's partially your style, but the patchiness of Quote seems a bit over done, especially around his arm. Still really like the moon and the night sky, though.
