during the events of Cave Story, I pictured Quote paying Arthur respects a moment before picking up that key that gives access to his house.

Interesting interpretation of events, thinking about stuff like this really adds to the flavour of the story in game! The drawing is also really good, and I like your attention to detail, especially the door up in the corner as well as the background. Haha, that's pretty good. Does a pretty good job of capturing the irony about how that ending works.

 

 

Oh boy. This is a really good piece of art. Expands on the lore and conveys a deep sense of poignancy very effectively. I like the whole 'looking into an imagined reflection' concept here. The faded colors and chosen highlights really drives it home. Let us know where we can see more of your work!

 

I concur, that image really does a good job of capturing the sadness of the situation, especially with the dark colors that you use. And I'm assuming that that's a shadow of King down there.

Ah, good old Kapnachi, and there's chinfish. Interesting fog effect and kind of dark-ish aura.

 

 

Ooh, that's really nice. I like the moonlight effect you have on Quote and Sue, and there's something I like about the way you drew Sue.

the orange-shirt mimiga is my go at an arthur design - i already have one for evergreen, but this is more of a take on what he'd look like once he'd fully settled into the hero role... so shortly before he died :[

 

Loving that artwork, Eli. I like the possessed Misery drawing, and I also like the reclining Misery in that second to last picture of Misery.

And I really like that drawing of Arthur. It seems to portray a bit more tender-heartedness than what we see in King, but also still gives him the kind of confident charisma you'd expect from a hero type.

@IdioticBaka1824 Even if it's not up to par with your latest work, that first GIF is still not bad. And the second one is really good, it captures the somber tone of King's death.
