    What OS do you normally use, Polaris? If I'm not mistaken though, you're usually not on a laptop / computer for the most part.

    That would be correct, I don't have one of my own...

    However, every single computer or laptop I most often have access to runs Windows 7. I haven't seen a single library using Windows 8, either. Really, the only times I see anything running Windows 8 is in those electronics stores and things.

    Maybe a bit odd, but I'm very comfortably in a world of Windows 7 right now.

    I'm still using Windows 8, but I've downloaded enough things to make it work like 7 to be mostly satisfied with it. Desktop on startup, start menu, and all the good stuff.

    Ah yes, my prayers have been answered. I asked for Programming and Digital Design for my next two electives, and I get Basketball and Team Sports as a result. Bang-up job, school district.

    Well, I listened to it. It's pretty good...

    As for critique, it's a bit flat at times, and I noticed that all of the instruments are the same, although that might be because it's piano. It also doesn't really use the looping very well, since it goes back to the pause at the beginning each time. So yes, it could be better.

    However, I <strong class='bbc'>do</strong> like it, and I'll likely be using it anyway - though I haven't really seen how it fits the battle because I haven't made it! =o

    You did well enough, in my opinion, so don't worry. ^_^

    So, I got Animal Crossing: New Leaf for the 3DS yesterday. What a wonderful first few hours with it I had, but I can't find the word to describe it. "Magical" is the first one I can think of. Definitely brings back good memories of Wild World for the DS, which wasn't radically different from this installment. So far, this is the purchase for the 3DS that I'm most content with. I expect good times with this game in the future.

    Was it really? I never owned any of the console releases, mainly because it seemed so much more appropriate as a hand-held title. What exactly holds it back from being better than the console versions?

    Well for one, the idea of having four players living in one house was garbage, especially since my brother didn't let me do anything with it :c
    Another thing was they just had the idea of the rolling pin world and hadn't done it nearly as well as they did in later games. (Personally I liked the acre system but w/e)
    The fact that you had to use a friendcode for sharing towns was garbage but that's mostly the fault of nintendo not making one standard one like they did for the 3DS (thank god)
    The graphics weren't nearly as good as any of the other games, which makes sense as it was on far less powerful of a system graphics-wise.
    There was a glitch that my brothers all exploited without telling me about it to get infinite money, as the bank gave you interest over time and you could change the date on the DS. You'd throw all your money in the bank and then set the date forward 90 or so years and you'd have buttloads of money.

    These all add up to Wild World simply not being quite as fun as the other games. I respect the fact that they made changes in it, but they simply weren't done as well as they could have, as evidenced by the later games, which took the new things in WW and improved them, while adding new things of their own that actually worked well.

    I remember playing the gamecube version. It ran on like 100 fucking frames per second, probably because it had n64 graphics and because the gamecube is awesome. I still think new leaf is the best, though i've never played city folk, so whateveh.

    Of course! No pressure or anything, but your mod, along with anything Hayden and Doors are making, is about one of the only good mods that are coming up. I'm definitely looking forward, don't disappoint me!

    Ah, sorry about that. I think it's the best one you've done so far (assuming this and Santa were the only two), and I really couldn't suggest anything to further improve it.

    Oh boy, I just had it. I shared it with my brother though, as I wasn't quite in the mood for a heart attack. It tasted surprisingly good (and extremely thick), but I still don't think it's worth the health trade-off. Lotsa crunchy bacon, it was nice.

I'm probably the only Mega Man fan here (except maybe Omega), but if anyone decides to play it, I'll be more than happy to discuss it.

    I'm pretty sure it comes out tomorrow, though. It will be released on the 14th, and isn't today the 13th? (I'm really asking, I don't even know anymore @_@)

    Anyway...I'm not really a huge fan of the series, but I've always liked it! I grew up with Megaman X6 and Battle Network 4 - the supposed worst games in their series. However, I did - and still! - like them, no nostalgia filter needed, and they made the other games I tried later on seem so much better. <img src='http://www.cavestory.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

    I'll definitely try Megaman Unlimited when it comes out, if I can. Maybe I'll share what I thought with ya.
