• Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

1. Just beat my first play through of Death's Gambit. The gameplay was on point and it had some really good mechanics, but the story was a little lacking and it felt like it was lacking a lot of substance. The cinematic value was pretty good though (such as the voice acting and the art).

2. Not sure about how they handled the pixel art scaling and not having it to a fixed resolution. But the bosses were pretty good and there was a decent amount of challenge in there and it was just fun to play. 6.9/10 imo. it was worth dropping 4 bucks on sale.

It's a very, VERY interesting experience and it has one of the coolest concepts in a game you can have(and I'm not talking about the story).
One thing, though, it's a game that isn't very interesting at the very beginning, and isn't very interesting towards the end if you play it like I did, but the rest is just incredibly well done.

Status: Taboo Zone 2 has been finished and I might consider adding dialogue to flesh the area (and by extention, the Taboo) out. Aside from that, I've now got Phase 2 and Phase 3 and the Diamond Dogs to work on as well as Taboo Zone 2's boss. Once I overcome this, I'll be sure to emerge stronger than before.

Definitely looking forward to seeing those Diamond Dogs. I seriously have no idea what boss fight it might be this time. Hopefully it'll be an interesting one.
