I apologize for misinformation that I may have stated in this thread and I would like to say that I am eternally sorry to MagicDoors for causing an argument that I was stupid and I should not be attacking anyone for having an opinion. I was just trying to have a nice discussion on what people would like to see in a future CS release, and I was saddened that not many people shared my opinion that I may have hurt the people that I would like to discuss other topics with in the future. If anyone reading this was hurt by what I said, I am very sorry for what I have done and I can only hope that you can find it in yourself to forgive me. I only mean to be respectful and try to be informative if I can. Again, I am sorry MagicDoors if I was rude or mean to you at anytime in this thread. It was not my intent and I would like to apologize for this.

Anyways, I don't see why you would be banned, though it's not for me to decide. Clearly it takes some time to adjust to the mindset and attitudes of some users. Maybe it was all a misunderstanding. But everyone, at some point, has or will have pulled off an idiotic stunt.
As for the original topic of this thread *ahem*, I don't really know. I've never played any of the re-releases of Cave Story so the only experience I've had with them is watching playthroughs. I recall answering this on another thread, but it's the fans that keep Cave Story alive, not the ongoing development of the game itself.
I am rather intrigued by the backstory of Cave Story. It's quite open to interpretation as much as it is finalized in the game's text. But mods seem to be taking care of that, for the most part. I haven't gotten around to playing a lot of mods yet. Most of them, lately, seem to be jokes.

The thing is that many of us who have been around a long time can find the topic to be rather grating since it has been brought up so many times. Having to say the same answers over and over again can irritate somewhat. Though that doesn't really excuse Doors' attitude.
The point I was making was to not beat around the bush. If you have a point to make then make it. The beauty of forums is that you have all the time in the world to make a reply and we are quite happy to wait while you do so.
