What should I trade my Polar Star for?

What's the general consensus on which gun is the best? I'm not very interested in the Snake, and I haven't seen the Charge Shot yet, so basically I was wondering if the Machine Gun is a better choice than the CS.

 

Er... its all a matter of opinion, really. Most will agree with me that the Spur (Charge Shot as you call it) is miles ahead of the Machine Gun in terms of almost everything. But if it's your first playthrough, I highly recommend sticking with the Machine Gun till the end (play the easy ending first. Try the spur and hard ending after you've mastered the game).

But you won't get complete satisfaction from the game if you don't try out all the weapons, let me tell you that. I see no reason why you should stop playing CaveStory after one playthrough, so you'll have plenty of opportunity to find out which weapon combo suits you best .

The movie wasn't crap, it was good just not great. Still worth watching though. I never regretted seeing it.

Have you seen "Next"? That had an awesome twist at the end.
