Aar, I swear, I have more of Video Game than anything else in my CS Mods folder. I engaged way too much into this mod.

 

What kind of skipflags did you add? As far as I can tell, nothing between opening the door in the character select and the timer starting the challenge is faster (which is what I was hoping for, sorry if I was vague about that). Also, dying in the time attack sets you back to the main game without the timer??

What? It doesn't do that on my end.

So, let's say I'm Aar and I die. I end up coming back as Curly with no timer. If I do ESC+F2, I still end up on the character select, so I don't think it's a problem with my save.

That's very strange. Have you done the save fix for the update?
EDIT: Just confirmed that it works for me too, and I know exactly why. I'll fix it.

Okay, to fix it, download the latest update. Then "Saarve" once and it should be fixed.

I did try some interesting ways to improve the time, skipping the fireball area (got about 1'37"something, maybe could get 1'27"something that way), but in the end skipping the boss seems like the only way to get the best time)
