thinking of starting a speed run

You can't meet Chaco in Sacred Grounds.

Doesn't that, like, screw up the game or something? Or are you referring to some trick other than the one where you skip the first Jellyfish Juice and move on directly to the second part of Grasstown?

It's like..

Go from Chaco's house
get juice on the way to Santa's
get charcoal
go back to Chaco's and get juice on the way
go through fireplace with juice
get first bats to chase you back toward jellyfish
get another juice
use bats to damage boost yourself back up above chaco's house so you don't have to come back later

 

So if this isn't happening anymore (last time ZeroShift posted was a week ago) we could do a collaborative community speedrun. I.E. we decide what route to take as a group, where to save and stuff, then all run the same segment and take the fastest run and pass on the save. (unless it leave us with no wep. exp. and 1 hp or something) That way no one person is committed to doing the whole thing. AFAIK there is no 100% speedrun yet

 

well this speed run is just something for me to do in my free time

so if i find a new game there'll be a sliiiiight chance i wont be working on a segment
