@Shane: Debug sounds kind of neat actually, definitely like a sort of computerised matrix area

@Liam: The note timing is way out. If you post the MIDI, I'll be happy to clean it up and fill in the drums properly :D

Fun has some groovy composition, but could do with better volume balance to make those chords less distorted. Sexy Thing I can't download now because it got removed :(

I didn't hear the original, but this sounds about right, both technically and aesthetically :debug:

I haven't touched OrgMaker for a long time. Here's mine. Reminds me of Waterway.

A Song called "Worry", as it is ment to make one feel worried.
Heavily inspired by other pieces but still recognisable as a standalone work.
Be brutal in your critiquing, I need a wake-up slap.
Worry
Imagine Geothermal, but in this instance there is dark undertones.
Nobody likes dark undertones
They're bad news.

Oh wow these are both great, good job fellas.

otemoto-dansei-ningen: I really dig the feel of this tune, it has emotion that would easily rival Cave Story. The one thing I can think of to look at (and a minor thing at that) is the crash, it feels a little short given the gaps between percussion. Might even be my personal preference, but taking it down a few notes would help that a bunch. Other than that, it's great!

Tinned_Duck: Nice name. Love the tune, first of all. The main issue I have with it is the name choice, the chord progression in it gives an almost relaxing feeling to it. Again, maybe that's just me. Other than that, there are a few crunchy moments where one track dips into chromatic territory, but those are definitely not a need to fix issue, many songs do that intentionally.

Good stuff, look forward to more orgs from you guys in the future!

Yeah, I'm not sure if I like the balance as-is or not. On the held notes, I agree it gets a bit rough, but I kind of like that all of the notes in the chord have equal emphasis in that I kind of wanted the chords to lack a typical tonal definition. Basically, I want to avoid it becoming viewed as "root and 5, plus some embellishments." But I agree I do have to solve that in some way. Maybe a slightly less rounded synth tone, or something like that, would clear it up.

Also, I'm not sure what Mediafire did to Sexy Thing. Maybe it didn't like the name. So this is still Sexy Thing, I just changed the filename:

Mediafire doesn't allow pornography. They remove it. Also, nobody outside the Cave Story community knows what an org file is.

Therefore, Mediafire assumed that you took a bunch of hot images of Curly Brace, zipped it, scrambled the bytes, and renamed it something.org.
If you name it "You're Ugly", that should be fine.

EDIT: I am not actually joking. If Mediafire sees a file name that LOOKS inappropriate, they will assume it IS inappropriate.
This is approximately the same logic as... "Well, that guy looks kind of Mexican. Therefore, he must have crossed the border illegally and we should totally put him in jail without a trial."

Oh wow, this is really awesome dude! You have quite a knack for slower pieces, I wish I had that skill D:
It really got great around measure 40, the interplay between the harmony and melody was really well thought out, and clicked well as a result.
It's not every day that someone can write an 88 bar song that simultaneously progresses and doesn't feel awkwardly varied.
Good stuff, sounds just like something I'd hear in Cave Story itself.

I've been making a ton of orgs lately. As usual they're all transcribed from existing music. Maybe someday I'll compose a piece of my own ;-;

Crystal Forest (org) <-- Another The Way song; I don't feel like uploading more midis

Truth Hides Nothing (org) <-- Another The Way song

Red Brinstar (org) <-- Another...Oh wait no it's not

Alone (org) <-- This one is actually a song from Yume Nikki. I heard this song in a pixelated RPG type area in the game and instantly fell in love. I can't seem to find the original on youtube sadly.

Uhh...to be honest your org sounds kinda noisy. A bit random, dissonant and jarring. Also it stops abruptly.

Some transcribed ORGs from SMB1. Has somebody done it? I dunno. Was bored when doing these.

Overworld
Underworld
Castle

I tried to make it sound as close as possible to the NES thingies. And it may be noted NES music CAN be transcribed to ORGs, given they do now use other sounds than rectangles, triangles, and noise.

Although some NES music features are nearly impossible (e.g. pitch bends)

No thanks, I'm alright. Sorry for late reply I forgot

Voyage 1969 <-- Original

Side note: Do you think that org sounds better with or without track 6? Or maybe it sounds better without 6 or 7? I'm not really too sure myself.
