Show off your org music...

I've not experimented much with track Y but unless I'm mistaken, that's the sweet drum used only in White, is it not?

It kinda sounds a bit like taiko to me, when played in game.

 

It's used in White and also The Way Back Home if I remember correctly. But yeah just those two.

 

I'm scared...

Well, GIR's been seeming to just chuck complete Orgs out every five minutes, and after listening to each one for him, I started to envy his OrgMaker skills.
So, for the past month or so, I've been playing around with OrgMaker.
And this is what I came up with:
Mechanical Ruin Orchestra
It's not great, but I think it's nice for my first try.
I'm thinking about replacing Quiet with this in my mod, as Quiet doesn't really suit what I have in mind for places like the Facility.
How's it sound?

 

Lowell: Not sure what to say. Sounds kind of beepy-boopy, and sort of like it's trying to be happy and dull at the same time. Has some nice panning and fading effects but not so much substance.

Also Wedge is an inglourious basterd.

 

Eh? What's this about my inglorious bastardity (which so totally IS a word...)?

It still seems a little "meh-ish" to me.

Also I made another org for the mod, here it is:

Girl by the windowside.

It's based off of Madobe no Shoujo btw.

 

I've made a new org and edited an old one a little.

The new one is the Theme Song of one of the main villain characters, who makes a brief appearance in the second chapter but will play a much bigger role in the subsequent chapters. The next chapter will be ready soon, maybe by the end of the month. Shimmer

This is just an extended version of Galactic. It should sound a little less repetitive cause the new part of added is completely different to the rest.
But now it sounds a little less like credit music.

Can someone make a "Quickie Guide for the ORGs section" -sorting orgs by author. Similar to the one at the first post of Remix Project 2, but for ALL orgs? It`s not easy anymore to see ALL the 51 pages of this thread to find an org.

 

We could all do like KuroKun did a few posts ago and upload all our crap to one big zip file. I think I'll do that when I get home in fact. And we'll also need to look through the "Post yer orgs!" thread which existed before this one but is now abandoned. It's MUCH shorter than this thread as I recall so it shouldn't take very long.

 

So there was another thread like this. If you do that I can change my first post to have all the packs and their owners.

Holy shit, that was awesome. Great job on the songs for Path Of Ruin, they sound really similar. As for everything else, fucking epic. Hopefully you make more of these!

 

So here's my shit

Includes the following music:
from The Wrath of Revorshkenahl (music is complete)
from Cave Story - Christmas Edition (music is complete, mod will be released some time around Christmas)
from The Paradise Project (tentative; many songs will probably be modified, removed, or added before the first demo of the mod).
miscellaneous (only one of these, namely pyramid, is an original composition of mine (I made it for use in Curly Brace's Story, but Kaeso hasn't actually put it in the mod yet afaik) the other five are remakes/remixes).

The music of TWoR and the Christmas music is posted on the tribute site, but it's all rather outdated. Btw, andwhy if you read this, could you maybe put the newer versions on the tribute site? Also note that some of the older Christmas songs are still included in the above link but I made a parenthetical note of it (for example, songs like "olittle (old).org" and "hnight yam (old).org" are outdated and will not be used in the mod).

@Ralren: Yes, I will be making more of these medleys, presumably. Have you listened to the previous six of them? If not just search this thread for posts made by me with the keyword "medley" and you should find all of them. The Path of Ruin songs were by far the most difficult to imitate and do justice, as they break convention so much and have so much subtle dynamic detail. They (along with the mod from which they come) are so excellent though that I felt a need to feature them in the medley. Anyway, I'm glad you feel I did them justice!

EDIT: Aha, I've found the old thread!

 

@Wedge. I can`t find Through the Clouds and your medleys in the compilation. Did you left them out because some are MIDIs and WMA and not ORGs? But they remain scattered then. Is "Through The Clouds" in its whole length identical with "Combo Breakah", since I have heard only a part of TTC at Jethawk`s channel?
