@Gir: Good job as usual; I feel like your WTF Story music is starting to come together and have more unity, so great job with that. Why is there no percussion in the section that loops, but there is before it?

@Dave: Sounds cool, you have a very distinct style and this song fits it well.

That's neato. I don't really see how trumpets are necessary but whatev... And I especially liked the bit at the end where it kept gradually getting slower; that was pretty creative.

Yeah, it sounds like it would work quite well as the song that plays during the final credits. And speaking of your mod, how is it coming along?

@Uncy Dave: Your songs have an interesting sound to them, keep it up!

I'm kinda at a musical slump right now, so I haven't been writing anything really great recently...

 

@Uncy Dave: Galactic is good, but 2 things; It doesn't sound very galactic, and it uses a very similar chord structure to your previous piece, Party. You can overlap the 2 and they sound like the same song. You could make a mix of the 2 together (they run at the same speed too o: ).

@Safu: Your piece reminds me of some of the great 8-bit songs I remember from the old sonic game gear games. Mainly because of the simplistic percussion in the beginning, and how normally you only have 1 or 2 different lines going on at once. It works pretty well too. Although I think a guitar would do it more justice than a trumpet.

 

Well I'm only TWO PAGES behind but it's a cool way to make my 700th post.

Safu - Trumpets is pretty awesome, even better than Polygon imo (speaking of which, can I use that them both in a mod at some point? ._.).

UDave - Glactic reminds me a lot of Prison Cells, and Kershungo has that same sound to it too, although it's a bit repetitive.

GIR - Has a bit of a samba sound to it, pretty funky, but I'd like it better if the drums didn't stop

 

@Wedge of Cheese: Thanks. And my mod is going pretty well at this point, Though I'm near the end of the school year so I'm getting tonnes of exams. Work has been getting slower but I think a new demo will be ready by the end of the year.

@Gir: Hmm...I didn't think so at first, but come to think of it, Galactic does sound quite similar to Party...Maybe I can change that by adding some more to it...

@DoubleThink: Well That's true, what you said about it being repetitive, but I think almost all of my music is rather repetitive. I guess I just like to make music that way.

 

Yeah, normally I'm not a big fan of particularly repetitive music, but it works quite well in the context of a game/mod.

That's really cool. Although you saved it without a file extension so when ever someone downloads it, they have to change it to a org.

 

Eh? I'm pretty sure it has a file extension; it ends with ".org"
