I'll go in order of what I enjoyed the least to the most:
Original Thing:
I found this piece to be a fun bouncy tune, something I could see in a hub world sorta place; the chords are really good in tracks 1, 2, and 3, and track 6 is great for a melodic tune which is awesome. It also feels a little silent for areas that the chords don't inhabit, that rely on the melody and sub-melodies to keep it afloat but it feels a little fatigued, but again, that's just me, but overall it's still a good piece.
Windmill Hut:
I don't know where I heard this before? It be because I recently played through
Space Funeral, whether it's from that game or not is beyond me, the theme still holds up on it's own and track 5 is a great melodic tune; it's short and repetitive, but always nice.
Harder Better Faster Stronger:
Seeing this made me instantly press the downloads upon seeing it; I've loved this song for many years and seeing it in org form is awesome. I think at the beginning there could've been a better separation of the melodies at 10 but it's still really good to compliment the sub-melodies like tracks 3 and 7. I'm surprised how faithfully you elongated the song, that took me by surprise honestly, but it was nice to get to the cool part at their allotted times. I was definitely humming this tune after listening to it. And at 60, did tracks 1-4 always dim out I can't recall that, I thought it was going to end when the original song actually ended but where you stopped, after the bridge was pretty good. But still, this is a great transcription of the piece.
Balcony Remix:
I didn't expect this to be my favorite out of the bunch, I was expecting HBFS to be it but this remix is beautiful. I actually enjoyed this piece for it's simplistic beat at the beginning and eventually becoming an extremely well done pulse. The slight percussion introduction was well timed and this feels like something you'd hear on the remastered soundtrack, even reminds me of something you could in a minecraft resource pack; it fits the loneliness and calamity made right before the final boss. The main melody has a synth feel which really works with making the entire song have a cool archaic but evolved feel, and right before the song repeats, it drives home that isolation, right before repeating back to calamity and injustice as it feels the tracks fight for superiority. This is something I really enjoyed and won't forget.
