For those who care:

Progress is slow but here's a little screenshot of what "progress" has been made. I have taken into account some criticisms and feedback so there are a small number of changes from previous versions. Next update will likely include multiple sidequests, story elements, and bosses up to and including the unlocking of the third character, Penny. I am not setting any deadlines for myself (I am incredibly lazy and inconsistent) and I have been taking frequent breaks. Don't expect me to update anytime soon, but be prepared for the next update to be rather sizable.

 

Call me a simp, but I'm pretty hype for this mod, and I'm really glad to see its development progress. Its looking quite good.

 

I definitely overlooked this one.
I'll play it when the full version comes out, without a doubt.

That's a bummer. This caught my eye after the most recent preview, and this seemed like a really intriguing mod. It was really cool seeing how far you've come as a modder/developer since Robot Story. I'll never forget that thread.

This probably isn't the smartest idea, but I want to release a new demo. Here it is (also in OP), we'll see how long it will stay up. Penny is now obtainable, and the story progresses in the Fungi Caves. A number of things have been changed and previous bugs should have been ironed out. The world is getting much more expansive.

 

Development is still slow but it's recently resumed! I had lost access to the game's files for about a year but now I'm back and working again, so here's a couple of progress screenshots.

I can't guarantee when the next update will be, but it will be quite hefty in content when it does. There is a big chunk of side/main content in store.

 

Sweet! The new screenshots look pretty cool. I haven't played this mod yet, but I have it on my to-do list. I've had Video Game, ACSS, and this on the backburner for a while. But I do plan to play this and give it a thorough review afterward, looks like you've really put a lot of work into this.

You have to defeat all 3 of the snakes after meeting Callisto for the first time, that will allow you access to the door behind him.

 

Surprise surprise, I've cancelled the mod for now.
