Whoa :p That's a big step up over the first release. Looks like there'll be a lot of new content in the next update.

I agree with what DT said, it looks amazing. Though my only concern is that it has become quite difficult to see your health and weapon level against the near white tiles.

The HP and level bars dont play big role at beginning, but after escaping lab bars should fits perfectly in green forest:)

I always did like this mod's backgrounds, and this one is no exception.
Keep up the good work!
Too bad it has ASM hacks, or I would love to play it on macintosh. :'(

Errrr... About assembly...
The hack is make bullets of polar star moves faster, so if change that, it will contains no assembly hack.
There no any other hacks 'cause i dont work with assembly too good:D

Where is the weapon data located, or more specifically this hack? I've only ever done minor z80 asm hacks before, so I could do with the practice.

Polar star is located in the whereabouts of 41DE60 in the .exe, the speed is a value that gets MOV'd to [E_X+18] or added to [E_X+10] a bunch of times (+1C or +14 for Y-velocity).

However, for one, it'd be in an entirely different place in the Mac file, and I was never able to find exactly where. for two, I don't even know of any debuggers that'll open it up to look at. I've been forced to use a hex editor for all of mine. It's hard :[

I increase some of these to increase bullet speed, so it would be easy to edit this again.
I also want to ask, do you want that this mod contains assembly hacks?
(Finally super mega almighty Noxid made a post in this topic. Waiting for Gir.)
