What's wrong with not killing her off? Does she invariably die in Katawa Shoujo or something? Or are you just disappointed that I didn't use the bloody sprite?

 

MagicDoors has a thing for killing characters off, it seems. Whether it's a little boy getting stabbed in the gut(somehow getting blood on his face), or a bloody facepic of the main character.

Well maybe. I haven't really gotten into pixel art so maybe it's my true calling idunno.

 

You should try practicing it some more. Who knows? You might turn out to be pretty awesome at Pixel Art.

 

That's probably what I'll do. I do need to learn how to make more advanced graphics at some point though, like 3d models and stuff.

@ MagicDoors: I agree with Noxid. I think I like your pixel art more than other stuff. I think you should try out some more pixel art creations. It can be fun trying new stuff. Of course, 3D really isn't necessary, unless you want to get into animation for movies or make 3D games. You'd probably hate 3D anyway, at least at first, because it's so different from any 2D art. I used to hate 3D modeling, but I'm growing to like it more and more as I gain more understanding and experience. The hardest part in 3D modeling is learning how to use 3D modeling programs. There is a reason why I mainly use Model Creator v5.0... it's stupidly simple for a 3D program, but unfortunately not all that professional (i.e. only exports to .obj).

Anyway, the reason I came here is because I made a spinny pixel art Quote:

It started as a sort of conceptual guide for a 3D Quote model I'm working on, but I had a sudden urge to make it an animated spinning sprite. I haven't done pixel art in a long time. It was more enjoyable than I remember.

Made a Spess ship with NES restriction, ignoring screen resolution. It's 64x64, which is NOT 64 bits you dumb. The color palette uses 8 colors
