Here's a rounded image by request.
I moved the eyes slightly over to the right because I thought that they looked a bit weird.
Also, I changed the color palette slightly. Nothing major.
Here's a picture of a flattened out sprite sheet. That way, the rounded shield is away from a flat character.
Honestly, I like this one more.

I have my own 100 drawing thing going on now, not to compete but to increase my artistic sense. There is no particular theme, just 64x64 images and creating whatever comes to mind no matter what. Even if I don't know how to draw it. Also what people tell me, but less of that.
So this is happening. Primarily so I'm not limited to platform, isometric or top-down pixel art.
EDIT: Hm, some of those are not 64x64, give me a minute.

Thanks, that was my first one actually. I'm better at drawing stuff like that than the stuff like the Doxen. I thought the best lookking part of the picture was the cracks on the pillars.

That looks quite nice. And yeah, the pillar cracks are realistic.
