That doesn't have any relevance. 10 is different from 100, but 10/10 is the same as 100/100. 10/10 = 1, and 100/100 = 1.

Not going to even begin to describe why it is in fact relevant, because it has a bunch of boring math that means very little to common people anyway, so I will just nod and say you are correct.

I will relent that it is mainly a question of accuracy over precision, if not a little of both. Going to the hundreds place allows greater accuracy than the tens place, IE 98/100, 99/100 rather than 9/10. He used the hundreds scale of measurement instead of tens.

Told you it was boring and has no bearing on either of our lives.

But 10/10 and 100/100 are both perfect scores, so who needs accuracy? I'd understand if he was really, really uncertain between 9/10 and 10/10 so he goes to the hundreds scale to find a good value, but if he's going to rate it perfectly he might as well rate it 1/1 instead.

EDIT: So uh
Let's move this conversation to PM/VM.

To put it more simply....

10/10 is like 1.0 ± 0.05
and 100/100 is like 1.00 ± 0.005

(Assuming that the uncertainty is half the value of the digit of precision).

No because trailing zeroes aren't sig figs unless they're after a decimal, silly.

Essentially something like a 97/100 score could be represented as 10/10 due to rounding. The 100/100 score was simply a statement of precision.

@Lace: Few people use decimal points for scores out of ten, they are used by people who don't need precision, otherwise they would use a score out of 100. Essentially scores out of ten are rounded figures most of the time. The same goes for scores out of 100 but the required amount of precision is already present in that case.

But you see in this case 10/10 is representative of 1.0 and 100/100 is representative of 1.00.

This is because the first raw score (10) has 2 sig figs and the second (100) has 3. If they had less/more they would have to be rewritten to reflect it.

1, 10, and 100 all have 1 sig fig.
For 100 to have two, it would have to be written as 1.00 * 10^2

How many sig figs they have depends on convention. 100 has more sig figs than 1. Or else it would have to be written as 1 * 10^2.

Hey, just was playing this game and i'm enjoying it so far. However after Royaltyler, my game crashed after checking the second or third door in the next area. I'd very much appreciate it if you could offer a restored game at that point. As much as I think your booster room in the first area for the HP is swell, I really dont want to do it again because of a bug.

Okay I'll look into that bug tomorrow and see if I did anything wrong. That door is a bit different from the others so I'll see if there's anything wrong with that.

As for the restored game, the game pretty much auto-saves (represented by a flash) at the beginning and halfway point of each stage, so I don't see why anyone would need a restored game unless either a) the save is somehow corrupt or b) the game borked everything about your computer.
However if you somehow can't load a game I'll make a save tomorrow.
Also, if that does happen again, just avoid it; it will be fixed in the next update.

Okay, I tested this on my computer and I did not seem to have it crash, so I don't know what to do about that.
But if you insist have a link that I'm keeping up untill sometime next week possibly.

I had no idea what the flashing represented, so i suspect my save file is fine. It definetly completely froze at that part, but perhaps it wont happen again. I'll let you know if anything else happens.

I love this mod, it's pretty good, and I'm surprised you took the high road and just did: "Look at my moads" instead of making a joke about the massive amount of hell mods and Cave story prequels.

Here's a basic summary
Story: 8.5/10 (Not much story, but the story given was incredibly entertaining, and even though I've been a guest since January, and I just decided to get an account, I've already seen how much he's done for the community)
>Dialogue: 10/10
>Plot: 7/10 (The plot is good, but it uses the tried and true method for a fantasy game, so it can never get higher than a 7)
Action: 10/10
>Basic Enemies: 10/10 (The enemies are balanced so they can't kick your ass[from the start of the game], and you can't one hit them right away.)
>Mini bosses: 9/10 (A little too exploitable for my tastes, but otherwise fun, also the re-skins were fun)
>Boss: N/A (I never got to this part yet, I will update when I finished the game 100%)
Mapping: 9/10 (The mapping is not bad, as much as there were some frustrating parts[Dem Spikes].)
>Puzzles: N/A (Can't really judge it because there's only a few jumping puzzles, but they are HARD)
>Level Design: 10/10 (Visceral, fluid maps make up this game, each area is specifically designed to give your enemies an edge, and make you think on your feet.)

Never got to the cat room.
