UggghhhhThis game stabs through the computer I'm using like it's butter. I'll have to get a better score when I get access to something better.

Through luck and quickly learning what to do:
Score: 4,146,661 (EX)
Score: 217,883 (DX) [Might be out-dated]
It's based off of luck, (what boss, dodging shots)and some skill (dodging in general). What I find best, is to wait until there's like, 6 or so gems on screen, then quickly rush to grab them all. (Higher chain thing) When it goes faster, it's easier to dodge, at least that's what I feel.
Also Noxid, are we going to have 2 different competitions going on with this since there's 2 game modes or just have 1?

Finally got around to playing this. At first I didn't know how the Hell I was going to match up those high scores, but then I got a fairly average score (compared to the other ones I got, at least)
I'm going to see if I can top the highest score.

Well, I didn't match up to the top scores, but I guess I'll post my score here just so that I can raise my post count say I participated and get points for it.
Please direct your attention to the top of the list of scores, rather than the score at the top of the screenshot.

This action-tastic platformy shooter should feel right at home for all you cave story veterans. The premise is simple: Collect Crate, Get Score. Do you dash for the crates as quickly as possible, or play it slow and try to keep the mobs under control? Strategy!
The game can be downloaded at http://www.supercratebox.com/ , as well as being available on steam. I don't care which version you use, they should be the same.
Score is measured in crates, most crates wins of course. No old scores!
Choose whichever stage you like most, the first one is probably the easiest for most people but hey, if you can do better on another one then I won't stop you.
