Oh, I leave again this evening. To the middle of nowhere with absolutely no technology except for a video camera to document our torment. So as always I'll go to every length possible to find a computer and post from it.

 

OK. Since the symbols will take quite some time (more than I first thought), here's how they'll work, so I won't hold back the language parts of Mimish. The controller symbols will be simple additions to said letters: [alt] is a line over the letter, [null] is circle around the letter. The connector symbols are symbols small enough so it's clear they're connectors, but big enough to be recognizable. They'll look like modified hyphens.

 

One could be a tilde.

An important lesson in all of this. Don't hack at jellyfish at the beach, each piece will grow into a new jellyfish after the tide sweeps them back out. Kids think they are killing the jellyfish when really they are just creating more.

Jacob is right; writing is also slower and lacks spell check, which is vital to the script's existence.

 

Yeah, better to get wrist cramp from something else, isn't it? Also, is there a rule that you can't use spell check when rewriting a piece of text from somewhere else? Cuz I ain't aware of no such rule, chap.
