Most annoying way to die

First time I played this game I died at least six times in a row on that first set of spikes in the first cave >_> I was too lazy to jump them properly. lol

Not thinking that Heavy Press may be able to kill you when it falls... yeah, not the happiest thing to happen to me T_T

You think a press's main ability is only to shoot lightning at you? Presses PRESSSSS.

Btw you could just jump even 1mm off the ground when the Heavy Press hits the ground. That way, even though you're at where the Heavy Press PRESSES, you won't get killed.

You'll only be crushed if you so happen to be in contact with the ground while it rams it to bitz.

 

Eh u sure aa? 'cause that's not how normal presses work. They'd still kill you even if it only touches you in the air.

But you can't get out.

When you apply a 1000+ cheat, I'm sure you won't save, which is suck.

So Roonil fails for misreading.

 

I never got nailed when the heavy press fell...that is, until someone pointed out that sitting under the falling press kills you. Then I couldn't STOP getting nailed (man, I'm weird.)

That pretty much tops my list of 'Most Annoying Ways to Die'.

 

Hey, I have the same problem.

I never knew until someone told me. Then, I seem to like getting heavy-pressed.

Edit: Hence my > 8 minutes.

That isn't bad. What is bad is when you get free afterwards, run in the wrong direction, jump, he starts to jump, and you get caught by him again less than a second after the previous one.

Yea, I experienced that before, but didn't die

Probably dying from spikes in the section before you enter the Gum room(the Balfrog fight) because you simply forgot to press jump would be annoying. (Or just failing to get past that section would be the most annoying thing)

 

Dying by getting Jellyfish crushed. I missed a lot of life capsules and the Jellyfish crushed me in one hit.

 

Yea, Jelly hits kinda lot although it doesn't attack. But you had missed too many capsules if that could kill you..

Hello, I made the cheat myself usin' <waitwhatwasthenameofthatprogramagain...> so I would have to strain my sweat glands hard enough to discover any item cheats. (and this was years ago before I had any true internet connections so I had to do it myself)
And that program has a key as its icon. Know what it is?

I died to Chinfish in the lake...I beat Ironhead...but I had like no HP left...then I see it in the lake...all the NPC's but it are gone and its just SITTING there...So I walk up to it and see if it talks for some odd reason...*BOOM* "You Have Died..."


Pooh Black's final attack ( once it dies ) got me...I'm too used to jumping on the bodys of a fallen foe to notice this could KO me...

Also: Not so much of a death as it was just me being dumb as bricks.
Looking for the core in every old area not thinking about going past Kazuma and climbing the freaking wall...I did that for 4 hours and then though I did something wrong and took a "bad end only" path...restarted the file..then read up and found out my mistake.

Actually I discovered two bonus conversations doing something like that lol
First is if you talk to the evil door with the Red eye... Quote goes "!?" and you instantly die lol or something
Second if you talk to Booster as he is vanishing/dying after talking to him once... He says something like "I pray for your..." just like that, he doesn't finish it :/
I wonder if there are still other secret random conversations that we haven't seen yet...

 

God I forgot about that freaking door as well...spooked me the first time...

( Also I just tried the talking bit...first the door will deal 4 damage by touch...then 8 if you talk to it...and all you get is "!?" )
