Back to topic, if a Mimiga exists, would it keep rabbits or befriend em?

 

They would kill them so they wouldn't have any competition.

By the way, if there is a sequel to Cave Story, there should be more Shoot-em Up style battles in it. (Ironhead was a pretty cool Shoot-em Up style boss battle)

Generally, cross species animals as different as rabbits and dogs don't last very long.
Ligers, for instance, are incredibly rare because they keep dying.

I think the only successful cross species is a mule, because donkeys and horses are so similar.

While we've screwed up the environment pretty badly, I don't think the human race as a whole is really obsessed with 'raping' anything... and the Large HAdron Collider isn't gonna screw anything up either. It. Is. A. Scientific. Device. It will not create black holes. It will not open up transuniversal wormholes. It will smash atoms into each other and see what happens when they collide. That's it. OK?
