Well, it's kind of impossible to really know for sure forever and ever the end whether Sue considers Quote a 'big brother' or 'man i have a crush on this albino robot dude'
I'd say there's enough implications that it's a crush, but all of them could be pretty easily debunked. At the very least, though, she seems to be closer to him in at least some ways than she is with her own actual brother, even through what little happens directly between them in the game, I'd say.

And Mike, I don't think it's a big deal. It's kind of funny how you find "Your Panties" in Quote's house, though I'm pretty sure it'd have been at least a few times more hilarious if it had indeed been changed to "Quote's Panties".

there's something pretty great about just waking up as curly and chako laying on the bed. You know they had to directly decide to keep that in, too, if they went through the trouble of doing something like renaming Curly's Panties for the mode, I'd think.

But a bit more on-topic, I just realized something when going through the Plantation. Chie, the little Mimiga who hangs out with her grandpa, is reeeeeeeally tiny... and yet she can speak at least as intelligently as, say, an 8-year-old or so. I heard people say "we decided Toroko was, like, 6" or something, but she's a good deal larger than Chie, and when I look at it, she's just about the same size as Jack. Furthermore, Mahin is huge (in height, too, not just width) and doesn't seem to be any older than, like, King. Perhaps a chance that King could "have feelings for" Toroko rather than just seeing himself as her guardian/new big brother.

So anyway. The Sue and Toroko thing. They never meet in the game, so it's hard to tell what their relationship is like. It's pretty much all up to your imagination. Do they like each other or do they like each other?

Actually I was under the impression it was exactly the style of posting in the theories section around here. And there is fanart to back that one up [I'm sure you've seen].

Sue and Toroko's relationship's actually a really interesting thing to bring up... it's kind of too bad that we never see them interact, Toroko never really gets to tell the village 'told you so' when they find out she's not an asshole :C

 

If sue and toroko ever met, what would they even say? I know if I was programming cave story I would just put in an awkward moment (see my sig) and then transiston smoothly into mimiga porn, no words necessary (maybe just a little).
