lol im a bit crazy atm i just feel like using photobucket :p :)
Photobucket is great, it's what I use.

I think I need to start on a new signature, I am thinking of Misery, Balrog, Malco, Mr. Little, Sprit King, Quote and Curly against sheer thousands of Bute at once.

Select entire image on background layer and use New Layer via Cut then set the transparency type to mutiply but keep opacity at 100, now create a new shape using the pen tool for whatever area of base colour you are going to do and put that shape layer under your drawing's layer (do this for all others as well). Now that you have your base colours, make shapes with the pen tool for all the shadows in the colour black with a an opacity of 30-50% or something, now do the same with the highlights except white this time. If you need any more help then tell me.

To Atravir: You are using two sets of shadows under the shirt instead of one, those shadows also need to be curved in the way an upside-down U is curved, except nowhere near as much as an upside-down U, so there is more shadow the further away that part of the leg is to the shirt, this will stop the legs from looking flat.

Thanks, I'll try that.
I drew my picture, put in in photoshop, and then traced it with the paintbrush tool. This took forever, is there a faster way?

From what I hear the best way is to ink it on your actual drawing and then colour it in photoshop, I have coloured images before with the pen tool and multiply transparency type on the drawing, it just wasn't my drawing I coloured but I did a damn good colouring job. I suck at drawing though and am too impatient 'cause I want to be good at it right away which never happens.

I know, I can't really sit down and draw, the picture there took lots of studying to get right.

I'm afraid of inking my "wonderful" picture, I don't want to ruin it.

Open a scanned image of the inked page in photoshop and do the steps I mentioned before:

far away thats bad

what can i do to improve it?

Note: i took the pics with my phone i couldnt be bothered scanning it in
With both images, the ears need more detail so that they look more like ears, look at manga/anime and see how the ears are drawn.

The hands need to be worked on, relax your own hands to the side and see what position they take.

Also the width of the two arms are different and you made the hair too tall in the far away view.
