i don't think this can be considered art
He's a kid and he's very proud of it, even though it is very simple.

I think I recognize where Quote has wandered to...

...And welcome.  Always refreshing to see that Cave Story is still inspiring new players!

You just made my day! And also, your picture reminds me of this subreddit.

This is going to be my new wallpaper. Thanks

It's refreshing to see that any game as old as Cave Story is still inspiring new players. It's nice when people can appreciate both mainstream and non-mainstream games, because they're both great
And even if the games aren't old, kids should be playing Cave Story, Undertale, Shovel Knight and not Counter-Strike or Call of Duty, even if they are fun games (I personally like them).

Yup. Discovered Cave Story only back in 2013 or 2014. It's my favorite game of all time.

I'm fairly certain there are like a dozen guides visual guides on how to build CS characters in Minecraft... any kind of pixel art is easy to replicate in Minecraft, especially low-res sprites like the ones in Cave Story. Still, it's nice to see people get engaged in Indy games like Cave Story. It gives me hope for the future, that the only type of game in existence won't be controlled by greedy, money-grabbing jerks that make you pay extra to get the full content of the game... (*cough* DLC sucks *cough*).

It's still nice to know Cave Story is still being played by new people since 2004.
Personally I have to thank my sister for getting me into it. She got the demo on the Wii, and I got the full game in 2014 or so. And now I love it.

I heard of the Wii version, the first version I played was the DSiWare version. I found out of the freeware version and CS mods when I was trying to get the 4th ending on my game.

My dad found the translation of the freeware port. Initially I was unimpressed by it, because we couldn't even navigate the main menu.
Wait, what? You couldn't navigate the menu?
