But PIXEL has a copy and PIXEL might be fiddling with it. It's not like I mean that he's finishing the Beta. I just mean that it's an RPG and he could be repurposing the same engine.

Call me a noob for speculating, but imagine how awesome Pixel's RPG could be. RPG's are all about storytelling and character building, and I think that's what he did best in CS.

True... and Pixel said he made up CS's storyline as made the game. The plot/characters are still really good.

I thought he was saying it was good news that he abandoned it. It's great he's working on it, I'm a fan of RPGs and I would love to see what he does with one. I'm sure it would trounce every other RPG I've played, except maybe in terms of length.

Well, I think we really have no idea what Pixel's gonna come up with next.

Pixel's games are usually very different from each other, and he comes up with some pretty unique concepts every time.

Everything he's done is at a minimum pretty damn nifty, and when theres actually something that involves story, thats when it reaches far beyond just "nifty".

so I expect big things for this! And even if I'm wrong, I still support whatever he comes up with!

I wish I could read japanese :/

Although, in the debugger I found stuff like "server.cgi" "cgi get server info()" and "hpcgi.nifty.com" so I suppose this one is going to have online multiplay as well.

Right now when I try to run it it says some along the lines of :

"Commencing connection...
Error,
Server is offline ("server is sleeping" is the literal translation),
Still adjusting"

So i guess the server for this thing isn't up yet.

As far as I can tell, it connects to some server, Then you walk around.



I wonder if this will be a game or a chat program.

A chat program? That would be interesting.

But it's most likely a game since you have some scrolling rooms and game-like elements.

There's more to it than that. One area has a number that applies to the text on the right, but I only played for five minutes, so I'm sorta guessing about that.
