unable to identify the mistyped command and treats it as random text.
this really only happens when you use incorrect parameters or don't have an end, if you type in a non-existant command, such as <YAK, the game crashes entirely.

Not so much crashes as smacks you upside the head for being stupid and then quits.

That probably made the command become text, and since the event no longer had an end, it just kept going, making more text sounds...

Well, the odd thing is that the space disappears when the post is quoted, so that's why I wasn't sure if it was actually in the original script.
