Final boss (spoiler)

I beileve I have reached the final boss.
I beat misery, then I beat the doctor, then he turned into this beast doctor and he beat me.
I just want some tips on how to beat him.
When he is just a normal man, I just shoot all my missles at him and his life drains pretty quick. But I didnt evade his weird shots, I just got hit by it and killed him really quick with the missiles.
However, I was short of missiles against the monster doctor, so I couldnt beat him.
It is possible I didnt have full ammo for my missiles, so I might get full ammo for missiles before trying again.
Anyway, do you have tips on how to beat misery/Doctor/Monster doctor?

Well that IS the final boss... for the normal ending. If you wanted me to go into details on how to get the best ending I will. But not now.

On the actual question, it would help if you told us what weapons you have. Otherwise I can't really help you. I CAN tell you that if you scale the wall near the entrance to the Misery battle you can get refills of all your health, weapon power and missiles. Yeah.

 

The best advice is to just learn how to dodge the projectiles. The double-helix ones are easy to avoid by jump in the middle of them at the right point. The big explosion projectiles I believe can be shot down by either the Polar Star/Spur or Bubbler.

 

The max missiles for normal game is 30, and at level3 bazooka you should be able to kill first form doctor in about ten.

 

So I guess I had full capacity of the missiles.
Because I killed the first form of the doctor ony with missiles.
So how do I deal with the second form of the doctor?

 

Like I said, what weapons do you have?

 

Ok,
I got the machine gun, the bubble, the rolling fire ball, the missiles, the sword. And thats it.

 

Hm, that helps. The bubbler would be pretty useless other than to save from deleveling your other weapons seeing as there are no powerups in the fight. For the regular unmutated doctor just shoot at him and jetpack over the swirly fireball things. For the beast doctor stay as close as you can while still being out of range from his charge attack. The fireball and machine gun would do well in this fight. Oh, and do NOT use missiles. Save them for the boss right after it.

 

God! there is another boss afterwards?

 

Yes. A tip for the boss ahead - Take out Misery FIRST. Otherwise the space fish will pwn you.

 

This is too much for me. When I was a kid I could play the same tough challenge over and over again until I got through. But now I have a lot less nerves for too much challenge.

 

The bubbler lvl3 makes a good shield against the missile fish. If you can, save some rockets for the undead core, they help if you lack the spur.

How much health do you have?

 

I have 45 I think.

 

Max for normal mode is 50, so that's pretty good.

 

If you think this is hard, perhaps you should know there is a little bit more to the game after this to get the best ending, and that these bosses pale in comparison to the challenge of it.

 

ive read somewhere you can get 100 missles but have only the normal missle launcher if you get the missle launcher but no missles until the ballos bit at the end

Hmm, never heard that. If you have the super missiles, you can get up to 54.

yeah his last form with missles is so easy its really hilarious

like 1.5 seconds to kill him if you do it right

juming on his eye and blasting away !!

 

I am going to try that on Ballos, if I don't get killed first.

 

I was told that I can take a life replenisher from the puppy standing near where you fly with your rockect. I didn't take it. I was also told I can fall back down the hatch with the smashing blocks.
I guess I will do that.
