Wow, I feel stupid. It turns out that I didn't grab the Gaudi blade. I thought it was a glitchy blade stuck on an animation on a block or something. Never thought to examine it.

lol there are no glitches in this version

Oh, and I'm not sure if this has been mentioned but whenever I look at a map screen, behind the map is a screenshot of the last time I paused the game. If it makes a difference, I first noticed this on Egg Corridor (the first time I paused).

Thats intent.

EDIT: I just beat Red Hell so yeah, I'm done with the game so far I guess. Sweet game so far. I can't wait 'til it's finished!

1. K. Maybe you should make it a little more obvious to pick it up. It's very hard to get anywhere without it, due to the Laser's pure suckiness and the Mod's sheer amount of enemies.

Lol doing this without the blade is Just so awful ( i need to try a 3hp run in the normal cavestory game )

1. It's right in the middle of a giant fight part. Maybe you should move it to a more defined rest point (where enemies don't lightning bolt in as soon walk past it a little). Oh, and could ya stop with insulting me? It's... insulting.

It isn't mean as a insult, it's just ummm... I don't think I need to rebuild half a level, just because for one member.

No no! I mean couldn't you just move the pickup point? Or turn the pickup into a treasure chest? I'm just saying. It's not a big deal or anything (seeing as I already know where it is) I just wanted to prevent anyone else from making the mistake I did. Eh, whatever.

Oh, and I did notice something: In Red Hell in the beginning you can pick up the experience down below, go back up, save, reset, then repeat this so you have maxed out rockets without really trying. Not that it's a huge glitch, just wanted to point it out and see if you wanted to fix it or not.

You can't play Red Hell anyway in new version, so I'll fix this later ;P

Just played it, that was really good. Infinite bazooka! Wahoo!

And if you finish and wait long enough, it calls you asshole and turns itself off.

Funny story about that:
Last playthrough I got to the end to see that, but I somehow died before that. HM? "You have died."

 

Yeah, when the screen blacks out, you're still playing. You can walk around and everything, you just hear it. Glitch!
