Why are Athiests assholes?

First of all HyMyNameIsMatt—can I call you Hymyn? Hymyn, you posted that like .3 seconds after my post. I saw your post after I posted without refreshing. I didn't think that was possible. Just wanted to let you know.

Now, atheists are assholes because everyone is assholes. Christians, Muslims, Buddhists and Pastafarians are all capable of being assholes, even though their religions forbid it (unless you're a woman, in which case Islam... nevermind). Atheists are assholes about their belief because they think they're smarter than everyone who believes in made-up, unprovable forces. They see themselves as a practical, critical thinker in a sea of sheeple. Hybrid owners are smug like this too. On the other hand, religious folk are assholes about being rewarded eternally, and being protected by their gods/spirits/Nirvana.

So I think a better question, Hymyn, would have been "Why are people assholes about their beliefs." It would have made you sound more tolerant.

And yes, I know how Nirvana works, don't get mad at me Buddhists.

Fair enough. If it helps in anyway, I have simply had less positive encounters with Athiests than people of any faith. Thinking back, I would encounter less from someone of similar faiths. I apologize for asking, and also to Lace. I am sorry Lace. While I have not encountered better, I should at least be better.

The misspelling is fine. He didn't want to risk my lawyers' wrath. As for the man himself, it's about time we had a "fabulous" rapper. Although he has a kid, so... yeah.
