Custom fonts

Hi everyone.
I was going to make my first thread just now, and I went into the "Font Family" section on the bar on top of the thread you're writing, and I noticed the small number of fonts there were.
I was wondering if we could have the ability to add our own fonts to the thread bar, like we could link to a .ttf download or something similar.
But if I'm the only one who should care about this then I'll drop the matter.
(if this is impossible then I will also stop "threading" about it)

 

I was hoping I could use this font or one that was similar and still not ugly: http://www.dafont.com/search.php?q=free+pixel
But this could only happen in these two ways:
1. Beg an admin to add this font
2. let us use our own fonts

But I would be able to use this font if
1. I begged an administrator to add the font to the font collection
2. users were able to add .ttfs from their computer or from a link.

 

Considering the rules say to use fonts and colours sparingly, I don't think this is necessary nor desirable.

Oh. Okay then, I'll just drop the subject of custom fonts.

 

If you really want the page in your favorite font, I heard there was a chrome extension for that.

 

Hmmmm........... I'll look into it.
For now I think I'll just make due with the fonts here.

I was hoping you wouldn't say that! I wanted to use wingdings so badly.

This would probably only work through google web fonts though, other methods are tedious and slow.

 

I'm sure everyone would appreciate a hacker coming around and changing the default font to Wingdings.
