EDIT: I'm learning asm hacking!
Good luck with that. I don't mean to discourage anyone, but it's hard. That's the reason HaydenStudios doesn't recommend doing it now.

Actually I think the reason that he doesn't recommend it is that he suggests to seru9
that you get a better grip on tsc and level design before you delve in to assembly.

I strongly suggest that you get a better grip on tsc and level design before you delve in to assembly. If you really want to jump into it now, then ok... I just don't recommend doing it so soon.

Well, I forgot to quote that part... Basically, it's both reasons: better grip of CS script and level design and assembly is hard.

If you actually manage to do it, then you'll be much better than I am at ASM. Me, I'm more into modifying NPC HP and XP and Damage Values using NPC Table Editor in CaveEditor. ASM is really hard.

Who's seru9?

Ohright...
You can use this one or this one if you want, whichever you like/fits better.
You don't have to credit me, just please don't go around saying that you made it.

Thank you a lot, i chose urgent action for the title screen.

"Sword" is a synonym for "blade".
Sorry i forgot to reply to this, what i meant was i would make the blade an actual sword, not a gun.

New version!

Will test once I stop playing pokemon pinball and making pizza.

As for your download links on the OP you might wanna list them numerically from highest numbered (0.010 or whatever) to lowest numbered (0.009, 0.008 etc) so it's more convenient for the person downloading.

EDIT:
Just played. It's very short but really well done so far! I love the =Sparkles= weapon!

Concerns:
- Save point item has a <NOD after the <YNJ which should be taken out.
- Some tiles look odd (some decoration tiles above holes in ground that look out of place).
- Sparkles weapons should look different so you know which you're using.
- Probably should take out the items you get when you get a weapon, they're not really needed (they have a separate inventory spot).
- Text at beginning runs out of side of textbox.
- Text noises upon entering Core and Outer Wall rooms.
Awesumsauce stuff:
I really like what you did with the last room, especially with the background and the music.
"'Fall'...? Okay, then..." Falls down and looks left. "Ohhhhh, 'DON'T fall.' Now I get it." Falls to death. :3
I don't have a fancy rating system like Hayden but I give it a 7/10 (it would be 8/10 but it's so short)

Thanks, I will try to fix the glitches.
Also, what decoration above holes?
I can't figure out how to change the order of the downloads.
I like the items, the idea is that the item is the weapon and the weapon is the skill.

These areas have odd tiles over empty spaces and just looks odd.

You might not be able to, depends on the site.

Interesting idea.

ok, I get it, my mod is glitchey, i'll fix it.

I don't have a criticism for your mod or anything since I haven't played it, but I just want to let you know this is the stupidest thing ever.
A good modder should be begging players to report every little error they find, so you don't have to go hunting for them yourself later on, and so they don't get into the final release.
I'm not even trying to make a mod anymore, but I know better than to tell people off for finding bugs in a mod that I made.

If you know that it's glitchy then spend more time to fix it before posting anything
then, like me, you will find yourself never able to post about your mod again.

It's not like it takes an arm and a leg to debug a mod. To prevent it from being a pain, all you have to do is test it as you make it at very short intervals, and as a result, there will be minimal bugs for you to go back and fix later, and... TADA! It won't be such a pain.
